Energy management success for Montagu Evans
This month Zero Trace's energy procurement team have completed new contracts for a London based office building under management with Montagu Evans LLP. Following the reclamation of over £22,000 in overcharging on electricity contracts an ongoing saving of 34.9% on electricity and 21.97% on gas was made.

Zero Trace Ltd have been instructed by Egan PAM to manage energy consumption on their national portfolio of managed properties on a three year contract with a project brief to include;
- Managing the monthly running of energy contracts for each Egan PAM site.
- Working towards coterminous end dates for all contracts.
- Ensuring energy contracts are and remain on the lowest possible rate.
- Providing a historical audit to investigate and reclaim over charging up to the last six years.

Jan 2011 - Zero Trace Ltd engaged by Morrison Utility Services
Zero Trace Ltd have been engaged by Morrison Utility Services to reduce energy consumption across their portfolio of 75 sites throughout the UK. Morrison Utility Services' goal is to the reduce energy consumption in order to lower operating cost and to ensure that the environmental impact of the company is kept to a minimum.
To date Zero Trace has identified the potential for 58% savings on electricity and 11% savings on gas at the first site visited in Bellshill Scotland.

Jan 2011 - Zero Trace Ltd Partner with Atlantic Business Resources
Zero Trace Ltd have entered into a partnership with Atlantic Business Resources to provide Energy and Telecoms procurement services for our clients. The Atlantic team will be working closely with Zero Trace to offer further cost savings to all clients.
Savings of up to 40% on gas and electric bills have been realised for clients already with thousands of pounds being recovered from historical over charging.
Zero Trace are looking forward to a long partnership with Atlantic Business Resources going forward.

October 2010 - Zero Trace Launch The Energy Consultancy Solution
Following the success of the EPC Plus Zero Trace have launched a comprehensive energy consultancy service aimed at not only improving a buildings EPC rating, but reducing the annual running costs for its occupants and landlords.
The new Energy Consultancy Solution begins with a three month energy monitoring period, during which site visits take place to identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption via habitual changes and investments into the infrastructure of the building. Once the energy usage data is received it is also used as a tool for identifying energy usage anomalies and possibilities for habitual changes.
Following the initial investigation stage this information is presented to the client with an action plan for the coming year, during which the Zero Trace team will stay on to ensure initiatives take place and that savings are made.
Whats the most exciting part of this new service? Its accessible to anyone no matter their financial situation, because there is no fee to pay until savings have been made.

August 2010 - NFU Mutual continue with the EPC Plus
Zero Trace Ltd have been instructed this month by the NFU Mutual to carry out EPC Plus assessments on a number of retail assets in London.
With energy efficiency being so high on the agenda for public facing companies such as retail outlets, requirements for high green credentials have become more prevalent.
Through initial investigation and the recalculation of the EPC ratings with a more stringent eye on details such as thermal efficiencies, the EPC rating in one case has risen from a G to an E.
Case studies on this work will be published later in the year.

March 2010 - Zero Trace work with Green LED
One of the country's leading LED lighting suppliers Green LED, has contracted Zero Trace in a monitoring capacity to provide an independent assessments of the savings capable by their LED lighting products.
During a trial at a high street branch of Goldsmiths jewellers Zero Trace installed temporary monitoring equipment across all lighting circuits within the store for a one week period before the trial began. Once the trial lighting was installed, an additional week of monitoring was carried out. Comparisons were then made between the energy consumptions from each week to find the overall saving achievable with LED lighting.

Jun 2010 - EPC Instruction Brindleyplace Birmingham
Zero Trace has been instructed by the managing agents to provide EPC ratings for a number of buildings on the Brindleyplace business and leisure complex in Birmingham.
Under this instruction Zero Trace has assessed circ 680,000 sqft of office and retail space for EPC ratings.
December 08 - NFU Mutual first in line for the EPC Plus
The EPC Plus campaign was launched last month to enable landlords and occupiers to raise the EPC ratings within their portfolio.
The NFU Mutual have instructed Zero Trace to carry out a survey on one of their G rated buildings, in a push to ensure that their portfolio is as efficient as possible.
