Regency Logistics came to Zero Trace in 2008 because their energy costs were spiraling out of control. Through a series of site surveys and energy monitoring, Zero Trace were able to devise a solution that included alternative occupancy habits, and proven technologies.

The end result was added value to the site in question and lower running costs.

NFU Mutual - EPC Plus

NFU Mutual

The NFU Mutual pride themselves on their corporate social responsibility, so in 2009 when it became evident that a building in their portfolio had scored a G rating, Zero Trace were involved to introduce ideas that would improve this rating.

As a result of the EPC Plus report the building immediately scored an E rating and plans have been designed to bring the rating to a B or an A.

Goldsmiths Ltd on behalf of Green LED Ltd

Green LED

In early 2010 Goldsmiths Ltd began an initiative to find alternative lighting for their high street shops, which would prove more efficient and reduce costs. Green LED, a specialist in LED lighting were carrying out a trial period of low wattage LED halogen replacement bulbs, and Zero Trace were commissioned to monitor the trial and present results on the exact energy saving made from LED lighting.

Webster & Horsfall – Energy Monitoring in Manufacturing

Webster and Horsfall

In mid 2010 Webster & Horsfall, a wire rope manufacturer based in the Midlands, commissioned Zero Trace to provide energy-monitoring equipment in order to calculate the running cost of each machine within their factory.

The overall goal was to provide accurate unit costs for each product being sold. As a byproduct, the company were also able to streamline their manufacturing process to reduce costs.
